After talking with Kevin from GreenLight Collectibles, we now have the green light, pardon the pun, to proceed with the AutoFest GreenLight Pace Cars. We feel that this may be one of the most successful if not the most successful pace program we have ever run. This is going to be a very limited offering so that there is built in collectibility on all four casting variations. The Event car will be given away as awards, prizes, participation and also as the ET “WINNER” award car. The Pink Slip Racer version will also be awarded as a prize in the gravity racing contests. These limited factory produced pieces should bring up the level of activity and participation for these events and since most are free to enjoy, there is no reason why all castings can’t be obtained.
The AutoFest Pace Car and Green Machine version (pictured) will be sold as tradition dictates to offset the costs to keep the show FREE to attend and enjoy. They will be sold in sets (one Pace Car, one Pace Car Green Machine) and each set will have matching numbers. Only 150 sets will be offered for sale and there is a two set limit to the number of sets you may purchase. We are giving over a full weeks notice so that all can make arrangements to place orders. Orders will be accepted by e-mail at m_hosaflook@skylinecorp.com (m_hosaflook@skylinecorp.com) starting April 20th at 9:00 P.M. EST. Please post your name and number of sets you wish to purchase and all e-mails will be answered in the order they are received. I will answer all e-mails Monday morning, April 21st and either confirm the purchase or advise you what number you are on the alternate list. Payment needs to be received by May 3rd and at that time your reservation is void and the next party on the alternate list will be contacted. As always, thank you for your support and good luck in ordering. Remember this is open to all and it is your chance to help out and be a part of the show even if you can’t attend this year.
