I have to say, these Shelby collectible 2005-2008 mustangs are fantastic. I have 2 of each one. I love em.

Oh boy.....the hunt begins for another Shelby. I hope they do the convertible version too. Can't wait for the GT500KR and SuperSnake to show up.

nothing really. just says there is a 2008 shelby gt 500kr , a 2008 gt500 super snake, a 2008 shelby gt and a 2008 shelby gt convertible.

There is also an orange SC 2008 Shelby GT. Spotted one today at TRU, but left it - the paint was in pretty bad shape.

Am I to understand that these 08 models are new castings or are they reissues of previous 07 model styles? I only collect 1 casting of each new body design.

I don't think there is any actual difference in a real GT500 between 2007-2008. The GT500KR has a different hood.

BlueHemi.....you call that nothing? Those are exactly the cars I was hoping they would do.

Atencio is correct, the only visual difference between the GT500 and GT500KR is the hood and wheels. I really hope they get the wheels right. The GT500 SuperSnake looks just like the GT500KR, but it has a different stripe package.

I wish these things were not limited to Shelby's only. I'd love to see someone do other 1:64 aftermarket tuner Mustangs like the Saleen and Roush versions.

BTW.....is anyone else having difficulty using the "quote" function on the boards?

Yes they do, I picked one up today for my son with plastic tires on similar rims, not realizing that the stupid plastic tires don't come off for the wheel swap!
