Ok Just want to know how everyone is setting up their GTB!! What settings are everyone using? Also any special setting on my radio I need to be aware of? The question I ask this is I seem to be a little slow in the straight aways. I have set the speed control with no improvement so now I was to know if I am missing something! Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks Scott

Been there done that with the gearing. went up , went down, went right in the middle same speeds. How about anyone who is using a JR radio I would be interested in what your throttle settings are on the radio. Please help@!!!

Corner speed is the key to speed on the straights :thumbsup:

How off are you on laptimes?

Gear up/ gear down, how many teeth are ya changing, brushless is not brushed, with brushless I see guys making 5 teeth changes at a time, not 1 up or down like brushed.

Are you using 12 gauge wire or are the wires smaller? Makes a big difference.

i have gone to 12 guage wire. i am probably 2.5 tenths off a lap. just now going over the transmitter settings now

I have the same problem with a new GTB running LiPo. I tried two different 21.5 motors -- same deal. The car had good corner speed -- same speed through the corners as the other cars, but my buddy would gain like 6 feet on me at the end of the straights. It just had no zip at all. I'm swapping the GTB out and putting in my Sphere to see if there is any change.
