I have a question about your find gregc. Is your 'hauler' a different color than the ones that I posted? This model is listed on MCCH as being orange and your find is orange yet mine appears to be a lot more brownish orange is anything. Just curious. Can we see a pic of your?
Thanks for all comments, olesarge90/Gill

Here are a couple of photos for you.

The 2008 issue Dump Truck initially came with an orange dump bed on the rear, but a running change was made almost immediately to a red dump bed due to the amount of orange that seemed to be out in one go. Matchabox are trying to get a range of color spread on the pegs in one go, and felt it just seemed to be too much orange.
So the orange version is a short production run at the beginning of the batch, and the red will stay around until the end of the production run (about 5 more batches time as models tend to stay for 6 batches).
:) :D :p

Mr. Tilley,
That was not quite what I wanted to hear...It now seems that storing a snow ball out on the BARBIE will have the same effect as I will get looking for this model in yellow...Both will be gone so to speak at sun down...Anyway, thank you very much for your pictures. I will use it in the space allocated for the model so that I may remember what it would have looked like...olesarge90/Gill
