Set up sheets are near completion. They are going to be basic assembly set ups as far as setb up tips go Steve and myself have been testing and tunning with the car and seem to have a pretty good idea what works. if i can help in anyway let me know. Matt

After Frank not being truthful about sending me setup sheets that he promised to send months ago, I sold the car.

As forever buy another CRC product again, it will never happen. I don't like being lied too.

CRC never give me the customer support. CRC is Crap in my book

If anyone that wants the full story, PM me and I will be then willing to prove it.

Rick,

You were never lied too. You asked for an instruction manual. The car you had was a pre-production version that was pre-built here at the factory by experience RC racers. Being pre-assembled, there was no instruction manual included in the kit. I explained this in one of our phone calls.

I said we would get you one as soon as we had one to send. The manual is not complete as of yet. Carbon fiber shortages and the popularity of our Gen-X 10 has tied us up and prevented us from wrapping up the Battle Axe project. Part of the project is the printed manual which has not been completed yet.

In the meantime, we e-mailed some photos of the car being assembled, to demonstrate the assembly. We also e-mailed you some state of the art video instructions that you said looked great but you "wanted a paper manual to have at the track". We discussed this on the phone on more than one occassion.

In any case, I am sorry to hear that you are not satisfied. We did try to get you what you needed. I apologize that we fell short of your expectations. However, you were not lied to nor were we untruthful. CRC sells hundreds of cars and lucky for us, you are the exception rather than the rule. I wish you good racing in the future.

How about the driver sheets that you were getting me from your drivers? Never sent them.

How about the bottom plate that you said was shipped and wasn't. A week later was told that you were manufacturing it and would be sent on Tuesday and took to the following Monday to arrive from Upstate NY to Long Island.

Want me to keep going???????? I still have all the emails.

Since you moved on to a new manufacturer there's no reason to keep going on and on about it.

Thanks for the nice words guys.

The 13th Annual..... (wow 13 years.... damn) CRC Raceway New Year Dash will be held Saturday, December 27 2008. Look for more info on the site soon.

There are some new hotels around for those staying overnight. Certainly been great racing over the years and the past entry and champion list is a who's-who of oval racing.

Looking forward to see all the gang again for this years event.

Thanks,
Frank -

Any days the track will be available for oval practice? If you've seen me drive you'd know why. Like to get some time in before the Dash

someone is alittle hasty...if a set up sheet it why you feel you need to crap on CRC i would have to Question your abilltiy to set up any rc car. we currently have quit a few racers running the car and none of us have a set up sheet or for that fact need one being that not one of us are running the same setup. in the perfect world we would by a car that out of the box is a track record holder. every car you buy and every set up you read about changes once you turn your transmitter on. may i suggest going to radio shack and try one of there ready to run rc toys.

Hey the CRC guys might not be perfect but none of us are. I also didnt get a manual because of preproduction but I know 2+2=4
My wife bought me the battle axe in june for my bday (june 14th) and when she found out that it would not be here until the 21st. She contacted them and instead of telling her she had to wait. They sent it to me and I recieved it by the 7th of june before they sent out the rest. I no longer have the car because I Needed the money and it was a little advanced for someone like me but boy do i wish i still had it now with what I now know. In the future I would buy from again just because they treated my wife who knows nothing about rc with alot of respect. As a recently disable vet I appreciate companys like CRC because i didnt have them when i was overseas for years. Big thanks to CRC hope to run you cars again soon

I am sure that if the racers requested a warm up race Frank would make it happen. with the quick click track it can be changed in minutes. as for Mr. Slander, let it go as it was posted you moved on and should be over the crap. I have been with Frank for many years. and he has done nothing but great things for me. If it wern't for Frank and some good friends I would not be racing. so thank you Frank and the staff at CRC for your support and help that you always have given me in the past and and hope we can move forword.

Anytime72 I used to run those things you sell but not anymore. If I had a car that had one of those tings I would run your product. Best out there.

Butters As for center spring I run a windtunnel v hive 15lb spring with a HPI shock. Seems to work fairly well.

Anybody try 5 or 10 degree castor blocks on the front.
Thanks,
Fireball
