ok then so a simple question with a simple anwser i hope.........i do alot of services on these engines and the only thing i cannot figure out is there is the odd engine that when running at idle then u throw it too full throttle and it quits immediatly...no stummble no coughing just like you hit the kill switch.......:confused:.......i have to of them at the shop and they start and run perfect all have been serviced and had new govener springs.fresh plugs and set the idels too................have no idea......:cry:.......i am thinking something to do with the govener itself..............thanks in advance..:dude:

Have you cleaned the carb ? It sounds like their running a little lean at idle during the transition to full speed. I have taken my pneumatic cut-off tool and ground the stop off the low speed adjuster to richen them up a little.

no i have not cleaned the carb and one of these units i tried a new carb right out of the box on it and same problem.????????...........i do agree about the lean solution never really thought about that.........hummmm........ok i will try and let u know thanks alot

do they have a low oil cut off ?
