I just got these in the mail today and snapped some photos here for anyone who is interested. There are still lots of flaws (which I will outline after the pictures) when I compare it to my car in the garage.

I noticed quite a few flaws in these prototypes already:

-open doors don't have a window frame
-engine looks like it is a Turbo II not a Turbo I
-says "GLH" on the rocker panels, should say "GLH TURBO"
-graphics need work, wrong font
-bumpers too close to the body
-misc details like door handles, key holes and frame for 1/4 window need paint
-tires seem to be too "high profile"

Other than that I think that the models are looking great. Can't wait 'till the production releases hit the stores.

well i wouldnt buy one not into little cars . but i find motormax cars are ok for the money i bought a few 1/24 scale at around 9 or 10 dollars mustangs, t birds, trucks 55 chevy passed on the 1.24 scale pinto type cars nothing wrong with them just not my kind of car then they discounted them at 4.92 l.o.l.
and i bought more l.o.l.
i dont like gremlins, or pintos, pacers , chevettes , or any of those kind of cars would never have owned a 1.1 of those cars but i bought them, the detail is not to bad, rubber tires on most and the little screw in the bottom of some makes them easy to take apart put people in or use them for parts i use the wheels on other cars and a few i keep.

all you need to do to your car is give it a wax job and detail it a little . its a toy , l.o.l. for what you pay for these little cars i think it looks ok . now if they would only make a 68 merc cyclone l.o.l.

Well I have been really excited for this release for a while and I can say I still am. However after owning 2 GLH turbo's I do have a couple issues with this release. I agree with all of your remarks above for areas of improvement, and I hope this is fixed before release. The lack of door frames and the really tall tiresare the biggest flaws in this casting I think.

As well, the center section between the tail lights should be matte Black. No Omni/Horizon after 1981 came with a black interior so that should be taken care of.

OEM Colour------Interior colour

Black------Gray, Red, Tan, Blue
Blue------Blue, Gray
Red------Red, Gray, Tan
Silver------Red, Grey, Blue
Gold------Tan

Neat, now I can have one of a car I passed on buying afew years ago. Nice for a cheaper diecast and can say I will be buying one (or two). Anyone seen the T&C wagons out at retail yet?
