Priced too high...just not enough interest in MM anymore.

Sure sorry that there isn't much interest in 'Um anymore . . . because the 1/18's may never be made again, making them collectors items once the well drys up ! and as for 1/64's . . . They are making NEW castings still for the upcoming sets that will be out this year ! Wish I could tell You guys whats to come, but if I told ya = I'd hav-ta kill ya ! Muscle Machines are just getting warmed up ! Some Awesome stuff coming down the road !!! Series 2 is just breaking now ... and a great deal has been done with new paint schemes, new wheels, new motors, and brand new packaging. Rohan's art just gets better, & better ! If anything is to be said bad about Muscle Machines, it's only that this Wal-Mart exclusive thing is turning out to be a pretty big dissapointment for seeing much on the pegs yet ... but the 6 months has almost passed, and I hope We can all find these cars again. :woohoo:

Do you know if the first series of the 2008's will end up in other stores after the six-month clock, or will the first series always be WalMart only?

as i hear it from within the company... they make a wave, they sell the wave. no setting stuff aside for later use through another major. so once walmart are out of wave 1 of the relaunch then that's it.
other stores join in at whatever point things are at at that time. wave 3, 4, 5 or whatever.

Yep, the Wal-Mart thing is driving most of Us crazy ! I have a in-law that is a Toy Dept. Manager, and still I can't get what I want. :freak: I hope for other stores to have these very soon, but I don't know who, or when that will be ? Most folks complained when about the only way to get cars was thru Hobby Dealers on-line ... I for one didn't mind paying more for the cars, or the shipping charge because it all came right to my door in complete sets & in perfect condition, and if there was a change in the run I already had the error cars = like the Hemi DARK from the flamed '68 Darts put out in the end of 2003, or the two different shades of Green from '01 on the '53 Chevy P.U. and stuff like that. Besides the on-line dealers always made sure I got just what I wanted. I can't say it wasn't a heck a lot of fun on the hunt for My cars from K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Auto-Zone, K-B, Toys-R-Us and Target back in 2002, 2003 when you could hit a dozen stores a day and find EVERYTHING You had been looking for . . . Man, I miss those days ! But things should be getting better for the MM collector real soon. The newer stuff really rocks, & 16 cars in a set with a Chase car to hunt down. We just need these to be in other stores !

I used to buy MM from OLD as well until they started selling by case only. I have to be able to pick and chose the cars I want to buy. I'm not buying a case or even a single set of cars if there are cars in it I don't want.

I've never seen that wedding Camaro before. I thought all of the wedding Camaros were in the pink paper wrap. Do you know the story behind this one on the blister pack? If the paper wrap ones were trinkets given away at the wedding, were these given out at some other venue? Thanks.

No, No, No, They all came in the paper, that was the way they were put out at the Wedding. Mine was put into a blister card by me, then My friend made me the custom trading card, & helped me with the custom badge. He made one for himself, and one for me too.

Like I said . . . I can re-blister them, I just gotta have help wth the badges.
