Hi Guys, I am a newby to dirt racing sprintcars and have absolutely no idea on how to set up the car. I come from 1/5th circuit racing and this is my first venture into the dirt. Can someone give me basic setup details, like ride height, toe angles, shock oils etc. Any information would be appreciated. I'll post some pics of the car in the next few days.

Hi Scott,

We are building a new track, but at the moment we are running on compacted granite track we share with a dirt bike club and another private track made of clay.

I have a Bullseye sprintcar and the maximum clearance I can get between the chassis and the tarmac is between 1/4 and 3/8 of an inch before the servos come to rest on the cross member.

I have a fried who just bought a Pro1 and his chassis is about 1 1/4 inches off the ground.

I am just trying to get some information on how to go about setting up the cars.

On our track we have the bottom frame rails at about 1 inch off the ground (I have a Pro1) in the front and rear. You do not want the rails to bottom out, that will up set the handling. Are you racing in the USA?

I am not Bob.......leave a message he will get back to you

for dirt you have to turn the servo plate 180 degrees to get more travel.........

Hi Robert,
I had previously tried what you suggested so I tried it again just to be sure I wasn't making a mistake. That does not appear to be the answer. Rotating the servo mount 180 degrees does give me more chassis to track clearance but the servo mount now hits on the cross member on the top side of the frame. Now the front axle can't move up.
