im looking for discussion and input on wheel base, from long to short an also offset and how it will change the cars handling ... this place is a great source for info thanks once again to the guys that post ..

I have a 10L4, I run the short wheel base. I have heard that a long wheelbase car will be easyer to drive but a short one will be faster. I have also heard that a short wheel base is better for short tracks and a long one is better on biger tracks. How much of this is true I couldn't say for sure. I run a short wheel base because it lets me mount the body back further. This gives the car more rear down force. I like the way my 10L4 drives in this confiuration. This is just my opinion for what it's worth.

this is all true. off setting the pod or tplate will tighten the car up

You can make any wheel base just as fast as the other.. Short wheel base tends to help help the car turn more. When i ran my 10l4 and silva this past season i ran it long.. It was just as fast as the short wheel base.. The longer wheel base makes the car more stable and less twitchy.
