I have 5-packs #1, 2, 3 and now I just picked up #5. Where is #4? I have the following:
#1 Dino theme
#2 Vip luxury theme
#3 Farm (i think)
and #5 Vacation theme.

Did I miss one or did they skip one? I am unsure if they come out in order or not.

Although Matchbox do try to keep the releases in number order, there are occasions that for some reason or other items will get reversed. This has happened a few times over recent years. Last year packs 3 and 4 were released the opposite way round, and packs 14 and 15 came out before packs 12 and 13.

When pack #3, Farm, started production, the next pack, #4 Fire, was due to start the following month. However, there was obviously something that warranted the pack being delayed slightly, and so needing a pack to release, they simply moved forward the following pack a month. There could be a number of reasons behind the delays (mold breaking, licence not cleared etc) of which we are not privy to.

In this case, pack #5 Vacation was simply moved forward a month whilst the problem with pack #4 Fire was resolved. Luckily it was an easy fix as #4 Fire is now starting to turn up in April after Vacation turned up in March.

Do you have any idea which month the Off-Road 5 pack will be released? Last time we spoke you didn't know, but that was before the 2009 line preview.

Nope. Sorry. Still don't know for sure. We did not discuss the 5-pack order during the line preview. The next meeting is not until the start of May now so I will see if I can find out then.

For some reason I am sure it is either August or September though.
