Has anyone else had a problem with a bone stock Losi Drift R or XXX?

My speed Control went up in Flames!!! It was Bone Stock on the first pack of the day. No binding, no crazy driving, no rocks or debris in the way of anything.

Any ideas?

I have seen many brands of ESCs get smoked. They are subjected to 100s of g-forces in wrecks and sometimes they do fail. You might contact Losi and see what they say about it.

The esc losi uses is the novak xrs. It is complete junk. I have seen so many of these fail in rtr xxxs.
No doubt that the 19t motor they use in the drift can't be any help in the matter.

send it in, get a new one and sell it. Get yourself a better esc.
