I'm all over this! I wonder if the disc will be a 2.0 version?

Most likely it will be 2.0.

Speaking of 2.0, for PS3 owners, there is now a firmware update - version 2.20 - which you can download and install that will bring the PS3 Blu-ray capabilities to the full Profile 2.0 BD-Live spec. Making the PS3 the first player on the market to take advantage of all of the capabilities that the Blu-ray Disc format currently provides.

Wow! Now you'll really be able to see the painted clouds on the cyclorama during the submarine fight sequence!

Depends on the transfer. Some BR movies I have are barely better than the originals!

You'll probably also be able to see the spiral lines in the silver-painted sonotubes used to represent the smooth metal shafts of the atomic pile in the Batcave set.

I look forward to the new Hi-Def material with West and Ward. This will be a fun one to have. I am definitely getting the special Batmobile edition version on July 1st.

Hey, you can already see the ripples in the cloth, why not the brush strokes, too?!

I can see them fine already on the DVD copy I have, but I don't remember seeing them "way back when" on TV.

I just showed this to the Dutchess last night. At 7 years old, she loved it! "I liked the action stuff the best!" Ahh, don't we all? Her favorite piece of hardware besides the Batmobile was the Batboat. :)

Sounds like it's time for a father/daughter modelling project!

Oh, trust me, she's already aware of the PL kit! It was one of the first things she asked me after the movie was over. She watched it three more times the next day, drove the wife crazy!

I see "glue kit #2" for her on the horizion. Not that I would mind picking up one myself.
