What is the best affordable ( under 50$$) mototr that will fit in a rc18mt? I have been looking at the Associated Mini-Mod 19T Motor. Here is the page at tower that has the motors.

the reedy mini-mods are good stuff, but not very cost effective if you dont own a comm lathe. once theyre shot its 40 bucks down the tubes. look at the venom fireball motor for good cost effective,low maintenance power, and they are much faster than a stock 18t motor.Really if you want to start upgrading motors in minis, just save you cash and get a mild brushless set-up, like the 4200kv mamba system, or the tekin 5400 system.It might seem like a good chunk of change ,but it will save you money in the long run.
