I am looking for a new electric 1/10 scale buggy either from tower hobbies or from anyone. 150$$ range. I am looking at the DuraTrax Evader EP BX w/ESC RTR. Is this a good starter? I like it but i want to make sure its a good one. thx for any help.

the evaders are great first 1/10 scale electrics.Just get the standard version and not the EXT version for 2 main reasons. 1 the standard has threaded alloy shocks where the EXT has plastic body shocks, and 2 the standard version has a race worthy ball diff where the EXT version has a gear diff. I picked up a couple for my son and I when he started racing about 4 years back. very durable cars.we litterally ran them until we wore them out!!

I've been running the b4 for about a season now and I love it. Just a little light though. Needs about 1.5 oz in the back and 1/2 oz in the front. Sweet buggy.
