Well, I went out and bought 200 acres of farmland today. It has 4 empty barns, and a bunch of fencing, an old factory of sorts, and a house smack in the middle. Apparently, the farm has been abandonned since 1963, and since then it has been government land, so I got it very cheap. It is a very spooky place, and nobody knows much about it. All they know is that is was simply called "Farmer's Market" and was founded sometime in the mid 1950's. They have no idea how successful it was, who founded/owned it, or even who worked there.
Well, I bought an ATV to do some rounds around the property, and look what I found in the south-east corner of my property! It wasn't even on the sheet, and it looks like it has been sitting here since the farm went out of business.

Well, I opened the door, and the key was lying in plain view on the passenger's seat. I tried the ignintion...what a nice sounding engine. It is amazing how the engine has been preserved for this long. I revved it a bit and then I turned it off.
I checked the glove compartment for anything that could tell me about the owner, and all I found was an envelope addressed to "Sabrina Macintire". I opened the envelope catiously, and this is what the letter read:
December 19, 1962
Dearest Sabrina,
I am afraid the end is here. The farm has been doing terrible. I had to lay off 25 workers, and all I have left is Sam and Jeff, both handling three departments. It is hard to look back at all of the amazing times, where the farm was prosperous, and I had something to my life. But, now, I am afraid the prosperous times are finished, and all I have now are memories. The only symbol I have of the good old times is this here truck. I bought it when the farm was first started, and I had it painted special. This picture is all that I am clinging to, and I need you to take it. Here it is, in all of its glory.

I don't know where I will go, or what will happen to me, all I know is that someday, somehow, this farm will be prosperous again.
Until Nextime,
Jerry Hues
