Bought a Novarossi P5X and sent it out to RB Mods. Just got it back and was wondering what other people have been running.:thumbsup: Rick at RB recommended a THS816, but then again that is what he sells. So any opinions on pipes w/ this motor?:confused:

I run a THS816 on my Picco P7R, works great. I'd recommend you go with Rick's recommendation. I doubt he is only trying to 'sell' you. In the end, it depends on what you are looking for; bottom, mid, or top. The 816 is a good all-around solution, but favored to the mid-upper range (in my opinion and the way my motor is tuned).

Note: If this is in an 1/8 scale and you are racing it, the THS pipes are somewhat more prone to damage than the OS pipes. Many people around here run the OS2050.

I doubt he is only trying to 'sell' you I totally agree, I just figure that is what he is most familiar with. I would like to hear others opinions especially like the comment about running it in the 1/8 scale which it is going in my RC8.:thumbsup: Thanks, Terry.
