what would be a good charger ,balancer for charging LIPO and charge NiMh's, NiCd's and Li-Ion's . just starting out and don't want to pay alot of money for one.
i just figured it would be just as cheap to buy one charger that would charge lipo and nimh's.

For a balancer (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXTSA5&P=M) this one is good.

It requires a 12 volt power supply. I haven't found one that will run off of house current that will charge at the amps we need to charge higher capacities lipo. It is probably more then you were expecting, but to get one that will charge all types of batteries costs more. Maybe some one else will know of one. :thumbsup:

I think the Duratrax Ice charger is a nice charger. That charges all Nimh Nicd and lipo's. The charger alone is around $130 but you will need a power supply. I picked up a SHE 14 amp power supply for about $75.00. that's just my opinion.

I use an Ice charger from duratrax and a team check point balancer

Say, how much battery capacity can the TC-1030 handle? Can it handle 12000mah Lipo's?
