I know I'd love to see the wolfman and creature. I heard Revell had the creature molds...

I heard Revell had the creature molds...I wonder why Revell didnt reissue the creature when they did franky and Dracula? But ya would be cool if Moebuis do es this series aswell cause will buy them too even though got most of them except for the one creature:)

Because the Creature sells third best of that group, and none of the first two re-issues sold very well.

All true! However a big part of the problem with the Frank and Drac reissues is that they were only available through Toys R Us. Had they been offered to hobby shops, internet shops and Wal Mart the results would have been different.

Why only sell them as an exclusive? I understand that they can then guarantee to sell thair entire run, but what about others with no Toys r Us stores near them? Because I live in Australia, I (as well as enthusiasts from other countries) have a snowballs chance in hell of ever seeing these kits!! It's frustrating to say the least!!
I agree with Capt. Krik 100%. They should be available for general release. I'm sure they'd sell enough to justify their outlay.

That's where model companies were setting themselves up for failure, of a sort.... they were making exclusive model kits for companies that treat model kits as a very low-priority product. How many times did we hear of some areas not even SEEING the product, due to local management failing to order any, or in some cases not even knowing the product existed when asked?

When the first run fails to sell for the chain due to those reasons... it's no wonder companies like PL wrote off kit lines when "no followup orders were placed."

Why anyone would give TRU the time of day is beyond me...they really ought to change their name to Cribs and Bibs ...they sell a very limited toy line mostly for 6 year olds and under and scholastic items, video games and baby items...Models ? unheard of ,,,even at the Polar Lights haydays the TRUs here didn't carry any Monster Models...why ? cause they're lame that's why... when I was a kid models were everywhere, every department store...hobby shop and even at the smoke shops and that's when Aurora Monogram and Revell were selling Millions of models not just a few thousand. Put them in peoples reach and they will buy them :freak:

ToysRUs must have sold a few REVELL MOM kits in my area,Because they only had a few frankies left,No Dracs.I think at the time they were stocking the polar lights monster kits also,But the selection and quantity sucked. Now they don't seem to carry any model kits at all.If you are looking for baby toys,Bikes and computer games they seem to be ok,But otherwise they suck:mad:By the way, If some time down the line Moebius decides to repop the Monsters of the movies scenes,They have my vote!I always loved them.
