I visited a flea market and a retired local collector on Good Friday. Here is a pic of my new additions.
The Polistil VW & Ferarri are both only 1 mark from being mint, and the Iso is very nice with a few edge chips as is the purple old Corgi Classics Renault (made c1970).The boxed plastic Bedford tipper is a fine copy of the Lesney casting even down to the twin rear wheels.Yet another Impy VW bus in great shape just a few chips but with knobby tyres rather than the nicer smooth ones. The Intercars Mini had suffered metal fatigue to its baseplate which was thrown away, wheels & jewelled headlamps were transplanted and the remains escaped the beaterbox into my hands:thumbsup:, perhaps a Dinky baseplate that has been in my beater box since i was 11 years old will fit.
Finally a color changer Ferarri and a rare beater solid dark blue Fairlaine police car fills a gap in my collection.A day to be thankful indeed:)
