The split has made both areas less active at this point doesn't seem to be helping very much. As long as they are active they will still be easy to find and you can bookmark this discussion if you like to make it even easier to find. It was a good experiment that just doesn't work well in practice. I_hit_the_wall 07-22-2002, 07:03 AM what did you guys decide on last Saturday? RUSTYK 07-22-2002, 01:04 PM We set up the on-road track on Saturday and we shall have our first race on August 3, 2002. This coming Saturday the 27th we are going to race on Dirt! We need people to help Rusty get the track in good shape this week. ~Lisa~ Shonuff 07-23-2002, 08:58 PM i hate my job--i have to work the 3rd:mad:   I_hit_the_wall 07-24-2002, 07:09 AM Get another job. Shonuff 07-24-2002, 07:18 AM ----if they move my desk one more time, i will just light the building on fire. where's my stapler.--- Pushingood 07-24-2002, 07:14 PM OT for me on saturday.Hopfully this rain helps the track.Might race on-road at Htown Sunday. There were 8 to 10 trucks running street trim last Sunday,I'll try to get them to come race off-road with us at Streams one saturday. I_hit_the_wall 07-25-2002, 07:03 AM Jady, Don't forget to put covers on those TPS reports. Didn't you get the memo. Heres a couple more quotes: Lawrence: Hey Peter, check it out, channel 9, it's the breast exams! ------------- Peter Gibbons: I don't like my job and I don't think I'll go anymore. Joanna: You're just not gonna go? Peter Gibbons: Yeah. Joanna: Won't you get fired? Peter Gibbons: I don't know. But I really don't like it and, uh, I'm not gonna go. Joanna: So you're gonna quit? Peter Gibbons: Uh-uh. Not really. I'm just gonna stop going. Joanna: When did you decide all that? Peter Gibbons: About an hour ago. Joanna: So you're going to get another job? Peter Gibbons: I don't think I'll like another job. Joanna: Well what are you going to do about money? Bills? Peter Gibbons: You know I never really liked paying bills, I don't think I'm going to do that either. ------------------------------- Bob Slydell: If you would, would you walk us through a typical day, for you? Peter Gibbons: Yeah. Bob Slydell: Great. Peter Gibbons: Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door--that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh--after that I sorta space out for an hour. Bob Porter: Da-uh? Space out? Peter Gibbons: Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. RUSTYK 07-25-2002, 08:10 AM Tell Htown Racers we are racing on road next saturday. Aug 3? Nitro and elect. Shonuff 07-25-2002, 01:25 PM you know what id do if i had a million dollars....... I_hit_the_wall 07-28-2002, 08:08 AM I didn't get to race Sat. I had to move into the new house. So what happened? Pushingood 07-28-2002, 04:50 PM I had to work OT and looks like more of it to come.I ran my truck at hobbytown on Sunday. I got a blue ribbon in A main.Parking lot is cool will be getting a TC3 soon.I told them to come try the dirt out. Shonuff 07-28-2002, 07:24 PM i won truck, shane was second, ryan craig in his new ASSOCIATED T3 was third, right behind shane Josh won buggy did i mention ryan's new T3? Pushingood 07-28-2002, 08:40 PM No Bodido??? RUSTYK 07-28-2002, 11:03 PM Parking lot racing this saturday at Stream. Spread the word.  I_hit_the_wall 07-29-2002, 09:00 AM If only my T3 handled as well as my XXXT or my XXXT was as bulletproof in the tranny as my T3. Damn I wish the wide footprint T4 was available. Bodido 07-29-2002, 04:06 PM I ran buggy instead of truck again. Just trying to look as slow as possible. ;) Buggies are quite humbling for me. Especially with that 10 triple. I think Josh won Big Air, too. Cleared the pipe past the big tabletop about three or four times running a 9 turn in his buggy. I don't know if I mentioned this before, but Associated trucks seem to run real well at Stream. I hear they have nice diffs, too. Shonuff 07-29-2002, 04:22 PM hmm... the ae guys need to get those buggy's faster. but the trucks, however, are nice;) Pushingood 07-29-2002, 05:39 PM Does Josh run Losi?If so does he get diff trouble like Keene? Speedy_T3_Racer 07-29-2002, 07:07 PM do any of you have an idea of a good backyard basher buggy. Shonuff 07-29-2002, 08:10 PM josh runs losi--he doesnt normally have diff troubles unless clarence builds his diff. Keene's diff troubles are a little more than normal, i do believe. In the time i had my losi, i had to rebuild once, and after that it worked fine. I did use the MIP thrust bearing kit though. maybe keene had a flashback while building his diff:lol: speedy--if just bashing, a bandit. If you ever plan to race, a b3 Pushingood 07-29-2002, 08:40 PM I guess for Keene thats better than forward flashing:eek: Josh could probably beat us with the Bandit. That would be embarassing. I_hit_the_wall 07-30-2002, 08:01 AM One of these days when I get squared away in my new house I'll be able to rebuild my diff. Pushingood 07-31-2002, 07:19 PM Hey TC3 owners.I got my eye on a used TC3 without the droop screws, I think its a older racer kit.I'm new to the touring car seen.Do I need droop screws or is this a fine tune adjustment.I think I cought the asphalt bug. I_hit_the_wall 08-01-2002, 07:16 AM they are a nice feature, but you can add them later with a new chasis and new A-arms. If your like me you will break a couple of A-arms anyway learning to drive the thing. Shonuff 08-01-2002, 07:27 AM droop screws do the same thing as shock limiters Pushingood 08-01-2002, 10:18 PM Thank you ..........thank you very much. Pushingood 08-03-2002, 09:43 PM How was the on-road turn out? What classes are we running? fytefire 08-03-2002, 10:35 PM whats up everyone...ihavent seen mny of the Stream crew lately.but again i havent been over there to race.how was the on road track today?...what kind of turn out did you have?.how di dthe track work out? sorry i couldnt make it....had to run Hobbytowns trophy race..got a new nitro an wanted to check it out...keep me posted on up comming ONROAD races..thanks Matt Wells fytefire 08-03-2002, 10:43 PM oh yea.Hobbytown had about 59 racers..28 stk sedan.....14 mod sedan...12-15 nitro sedan.....and some trucks.....i think Streams onroad turnout will get much better......not many people knew about it today.i tried to spread the info....ive heard Streams parking lot is really nice and smooth....and it asphalt...kinda new i heard...need to work on spreading info over on this side of the water...see ya soon......... On-road next Sat. We haven't run on-road yet, but we have the layout pretty dialed in, We'll have wooden barriers all the way around.... No fire hose. The layout is fairly fast and smooth. We'll start off with a stock tc class, and probably a nitro tc class. Hopefully turnout will be good and we'll run some mod soon too. We'll have alot of asphault newbies (myself included). I've only done it on the rug. We'll have a few total tc newbies as well. I'm hesitant to say spread the word, because we'd like to run a race or two to work all the bugs out. I'd hate to see fifty people show up, and us have computer problems etc... Basically I don't want people to come by on our first week and say Stream doesn't have their act together, etc.... Once we figure out whatever the issues are and we correct them, we'll be great. I don't think it'll be a stretch to say that after a few weeks of running and bug squashing, Stream will have the best tc racing on the Peninsula AND Southside. Period. Shonuff 08-06-2002, 09:50 PM .... done it on the rug..... HAHAHA:eek: fytefire 08-06-2002, 10:08 PM hey Jady you going to Brown Brothers this weekend for the big on road race?..a bunch of us are going up..Wayne,Bubba, Brian, Chris,Rob and myself....Donnies going also.....race is on Sunday....im thinking about going up Sat for some much needed practice.....Matt Shonuff 08-06-2002, 10:19 PM naw--just gonna run stream and do some r&d. Shonuff 08-06-2002, 10:25 PM you know, i might go up there sunday--how much is it to race? fytefire 08-06-2002, 10:28 PM im nsure.go to www.bbhobbies.com for all the info you need....im sure you can find someone to ride with if you need to ... I_hit_the_wall 08-08-2002, 07:27 AM Well I should be back on the dirt Saturday. My moving to our new house has been completed.
