The pit situation has me worried though. I've never raced gas before, so an experienced pit man would be a big plus.

the next off-road at debbsis not this week but the following week.i will be more than happy to pit for a 1/10 scale, pit for me in 1/8 and i'll pit for you in 1/10. there is usually enough nitro racers there to cover pit dutties for everyone.

Worked on the GT a little last night. I stripped a head bolt, I believe. I am a dolt. What a newbie move. Luckily I have a machinist brother to bail me out of these situations. Chassis is pretty well set up though.

Bubba i wont be racing Sun ill be at the fire station....the chemical Debbs is using is what construction sites use to keep dust down...basicly it like diesel fuel..a little bit of an oil content.. kinda tacky...its non-corrosive so it wont hurt your cars...works really well from what i hear..its what they used at last years region 2 1/8th regionals...and the track was dialed...some come check it out..it could be a whole new track.....see ya soon...Matt

Well, I'm sorry to say I won't be racing at Stream this week. Shonuff and I must give gas truck a shot. It seems kind of nuts, but we're just stupid enough to try running our first gas race at the ROAR regionals at the Tiltyard. What on Earth are we thinking?

For those running at Stream: Clean up those step pins and bow ties. And try to keep it shiny side up. :p

I'll be the first to admit I was a bit scared. What a pathetic showing. At least I got a couple of tanks of practice at about 10 o'clock Saturday night. I learned alot. I learned it's difficult to start a freshly rebuilt engine with a weak starter box and battery when it's 40 degrees out. Make that impossible. Driving under the lights was cool. That track is sick!! I know running in the rain with those expensive 1/8 scales kind of sucked, but I can see both sides of the argument for running the race.

As for this week:

The chances of my T3 not firing are pretty slim, so you guys are in for it. ;)
The chance for rain is considerably higher, unfortunately. Cross your fingers.
