Hi guys.My name is Les DeLap.I came up last year and ran buggy and truck with you guys.Im from the Dallas,Tx area.I won buggy and gave away some product.Associated cap and some otherstuff.I pitted behind the buisness next door and started off on the ground.I had a girl with me that stayed in the car(Like they are suppose to)lol.Kidding.But I may be coming up again.Do you guys race every Sat weather permitting or what is the schedule?

Everyone, We are planning on racing at Stream this Saturday depending on the weather and then on Sunday begining to extend the track approx. 10 ft. and changing the layout. We are working on finding dirt. If the track is too wet Saturday to race we will start working on it then. So let me know who can make it out to work on the track on Sunday.

Who wants hats.Keith has a good design and I want to order soon. Come to the shop and keep me up to date on whats new.
I want us to have the best and friendliest place to race.
Can we get 4 or 5 nitro trucks to run saturday. I want to do a sound test.

I'll bring my T-Maxx on Saturday too (again, if I can make it). I know you don't want it on the track for fear of tearing it up but I can run it in the grass to help with the sound test.

What the deal people, Been in Cali the last week. Whats the deal with the track did we get anything accomplished? I heard the trees were releasing hella sap last week. Did you guys get to run on Saturday? See everyone around.

Who would prefer to work on the track versus racing this weekend? I kind of want us to move forward with the new track design.

One thing that will need to be done before we get dirt, is get the retaining wall built, painted, and in place. We also have to kill the grass where the track is being extended to.

OH YEAH.

It's nice. It's easier to drive than my truck!!

Rusty and I started the grass killing. We went out about 10 feet on the fast sweeper end. We went out another 3 feet or so on the backside of the track (towards the field). We added about a foot of width towards the building as well. It adds a good bit of real estate, actually.


Who wants to help me teardown the workbenches at the Hampton track on Thursday evening? I have a beater full-size truck we can use. A couple good cordless drills, a couple prybars, hammers, and 8 or 10 hands would be nice.

On Road Racing starts Saturday 3 May. Let's get the word out. We will add 1/12 cars this year. We will then race off road and on road every other week. 10 May off road 17 May on road so on and so on. I hope to have hats soon.

Chad I can make it out there after 7, I got class on thursdays. Let me know

Is anyone planning to race this weekend?

I think we should race if the track's dry. We can't really do anything to the track until the grass dies & the new dirt is delivered anyway, right?

I could go either way on the race versus work on the track. Actually, before the new dirt is delivered the track needs to be leveled out and tilled up. If we don't the new dirt will just chunk right off down to the old surface.

I have a new machine to test out, so I'm ready to run that. But, I'm dying to get the new layout done.

Shane and I picked up the plywood for the turn 1&2 wall. I'm going to cut that down to the proper size and paint it. We'll just need to assemble that at the track with vertical 2x4 braces. This plywood was used for an oval track so it's got the curve we need already. :)

the track does need new dirt ill try and be there but im on my spring break in Vermont seein family its boring not racing dirt and my tc but im gonna be there when im not working, whens thenext tilt race? not tryin to get off subject.

The track is now under construction. Josh, JD, Chad, Ryan, and I removed all the tubing and tilled up the whole track on Saturday. Right now we are waiting on dirt.

As for the track. It is now tilled and mostly level. Shane owns the tiny tiller that can!! That thing is badass.

I guess we need

1) ms utility to mark the underground power, etc...
2) kill rest of grass
3) spread existing dirt out to new layout dimensions
4) put up turn 1&2 wall (I'm cutting the wood for this today).
5) get new dirt
6) Go bobcat crazy!!!

I take one day off and someone goes crazy with a tiller. Racing starts 3 May and that will be On-road then everyother week thereafter. The new dirt track is going to be very good. We are not diggig down so I do not see the need to cal Miss utilty. The first dirt race will be 10 April.We are going to have a great summer of racing. The best around.

JD, How did the old B4 do? I talked to R Trukee and he said you could of used about a half a second more in the main ( that sucks!!!! ) Sounds like you did good with it though. I hear Deb's has got some great new track changes ( What are they thinking over there? not thinking much I guess) We really need to concentrate on Stream, that's all I'm looking forward to right now. Josh got a real good lead on the rest of us, but broke. He was doing the three wheel thing, I believe. On the last lap I got by Jady. As Jady and I caught Josh we also caught the lap traffic. As I was trying to get around Grelish, he was trying to be a good guy and let me by, so naturally I ran right into the back of him :freak: , and got stuck there. Jady got back around me. We finished Josh, Jady, and me with about 4 or 5 seconds between the three of us. Real fun main.

The B4's seemed clearly better in some sections.

The stock turnbuckles are very poor metal, I'm afraid. Broke two of them in fairly low speed wrecks. Actually Shane broke one, haha. Titaniam will be the way to go there, at least for the front camber links.

Stream Racers, Rusty wants to know what tires and motors we want to run. I think we should go to 19 turn motors but we need to get a concensus on which brand. So i need everyones input on tires and motors. Trinity, Orion motors? Holeshots, Ifmar Pins, Let me know.
