Yea Losi was a yo yo manufacturer back in the day.... Then for a little while they produced only hop-up items, (mostly for the original RC10).... Then they decided to compete with AE and create their own buggy.

I hope the yo yo is more durable than the truck!!
I think AE should make a yo yo, it would spin twice as fast as the Losi one and not fall apart if it hit the ground!!!!

Keith: Have you seen the layout sketch yet? Rusty has it. I'm proud of myself. I think it will be lovely. A bit more tricky than anything we've had in the past. It should have better passing opportunities, more air, higher speeds, and more air.

I had a number of problems all night. Mainly because I used the same speed control I used for off road last week. It's bad mmmmkay!!

Still had a blast. I only got close to a good setup at the end of the night. In the main me and Jady had a couple of laps where we were side by side and generally all over each other at warp speeds. It was nuts.

After the first qualifier, jlap had to be adjusted. It wasn't counting all our laps..... It wasn't counting the ones UNDER 4 SECONDS. WHooHoo!! We were running close to 60 laps I believe. Waay faster than stock.... slightly slower than 19 turn.

That said, There was very little interest in the class at all. I think Jady and I will continue to run it for now, but I think it's days are numbered. :(

1/12 scale stock sounds like a big possibility when the new location opens. I've been thinking of getting one for a while now. After getting to take one for a spin Saturday night, I'm more enthused about them than I was initially. Jady and Ryan drove it too. We were all impressed. Factor in the tire and motor cost, compared to tc's on foams.... These 1/12 would be quite cheap to run. TC's go through tires at Hampton in about three weeks IF you don't chunk em. Stock motors need to be cut at Hampton every 2-3 runs if you want to win. I can't see how 1/12 scale could be close to this wear and tear. I don't have hands on experience, though.

Did I mention these cars freakin turn!!!?? They freakin turn!! Seriously!! I'm gonna get one. Been looking at the Speedmerchant Rev 3. It looks like Ryan is in too. Jady's poor and looking to get married so that equals mega poor. So naturally he's hesitant. I'm not joking you Jady.... I remember being a student.... It sucked!!

It really looked like I had something for Jady in truck at the last off-road day. Damn speed control would always kill me though.

This won't be an issue this time, though. That esc is allready boxed up for shipment to Novak.

I think I might have to get Jady nice and drunk Friday night. He sure can't hold his liquor like he can drive. This will certainly even things up some. Now if Ryan gets involved, I think the advantage wouldn't stay with me. I think he could drink Jady and I both under the table.

Josh and Shane talked like they were gonna show this weekend. I've never raced Josh in truck. Looking forward to putting a big ole donut on the side of his Losi. ;)

Bubba: If you're up to it.... Make the drive. We'll have a killer truck class. Kick Wayne in the rear too. He hasn't been seen over here in a while. I'm guessing he's got a lot of work lately. Tell him the buggy class has been doing good, too. Grelish and Casserola started running buggy now as well.

At the moment.... Rain ISN'T in the forecast for the weekend. We'll see though. I try to be optimistic, but lately it seems as though mother nature hates RC racing.

Chad, I think this Saturday should be pretty good. Trucks will be awesome with me you JD, Josh, and Shane.The weather is looking good so far but it's only Tuesday and you know how it goes. Hopefully I will pick up a 12th scale in the next couple of weeks, I will have some extra cash after I sell all those fabulous Losi cars!! Not sure wich one to get. Lets plan on getting some draft beer in JD Friday night , that is sure to even things up a bit. december 1 is there goal. the new oval track is sweet, looks like a little sandhills. The flat track is a little on the small size, but we are planning on running 12th scale, so that doesnt matter.

Did you try Ryan's truck last time? He had a ton of steering for running blacks in the rear. Still scratching my head on that one. Will have to investigate further on Saturday. I did have a ton of body roll due to the current roll center setup. I might need another washer under my ballstuds in the rear.... unless it's dry of course.

there are plenty of options now, stream with the onroad, and hampton with carpet, and road trips within 3 hours; You definatly have options.

oh yea cupholder its duct taped to the carpet on the dash, also forgot the 2x4 nailed to the side wire wraped around it bud can on top with nails sticking out for the antenna hachetchoped wheel wells for the p215- 40 x18 inch rims and a crank out vent top found onthe road which is covering the holr in the roof mounted with silicone and duct tape also lets not forget the 6 diffrent model emblems luquid nailed to the side and the mack truck hood ornamate :thumbsup: :eek: :dude:

I got the 12th scale fever. Back to my roots, where it all begin. Where I first became a force to be wrecking with. Let Stream know what you need and we will try to get it. We got a couple of AE 1/12 scale kits on order, and some P35 bodys, and some tires at different compound.
