Be glad that I am considering running another product other than Losi(the Greatest). But I do it all in the name of competition. I have to run whatever class my fellow Team RatSh*t Drivers run in. Plus Bolink Has no affiliation with ae(notice the lower case). So it's O.K. Shonuff 11-05-2002, 11:01 PM so you buy stuff that started out as a yo yo company--geez maybe next they will make chopsticks, or those key hook things you can put on youre belt, and they will be red RUSTYK 11-06-2002, 12:18 AM I lost what are we taling about? Shonuff 11-06-2002, 08:15 AM team losi is actually team losi yo yo's. i wonder if josh can get those free as well....... Bodido 11-06-2002, 01:41 PM Yea Losi was a yo yo manufacturer back in the day.... Then for a little while they produced only hop-up items, (mostly for the original RC10).... Then they decided to compete with AE and create their own buggy. Sprinklerman80 11-06-2002, 04:54 PM I hope the yo yo is more durable than the truck!! I think AE should make a yo yo, it would spin twice as fast as the Losi one and not fall apart if it hit the ground!!!! outOcntrl 11-06-2002, 05:23 PM ENOUGH ALREADY:mad: ENOUGH with the LOSI Jokes. THEY R THE SHIZN*T and YES THEY MADE YO-YO's, BUT I THINK THEY ALSO MADE THE REIGNING NATIONAL 1st PLACE TRUCK AND BUGGY. WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO I WIN, TWO TO NOTHIN. Shonuff 11-06-2002, 06:09 PM HEY, YOU JUST SIT IN YOUR TOWER, LETS SEE YOU COME UP WITH SOMETHING LIKE INWARD SINGING Sprinklerman80 11-06-2002, 09:30 PM Jd did some inward singing on open mic. night. You just can't quit. You're not allowed. If you really must sell, I'll ask around. I'd think we'd all prefer that you race though. Keith: Have you seen the layout sketch yet? Rusty has it. I'm proud of myself. I think it will be lovely. A bit more tricky than anything we've had in the past. It should have better passing opportunities, more air, higher speeds, and more air. Bodido 11-11-2002, 12:31 AM And it'll have more air, too! Pushingood 11-11-2002, 05:45 PM I lost my racing mo-jo.I may could race again next year? I dont know what to ask for it all anyhow? Sprinklerman80 11-11-2002, 06:41 PM "MMMMMMMMMMMM, air " Shonuff 11-11-2002, 11:04 PM you can always tell the retired motocross guys..... next year should be awsome. With JBOK buying a truck, the truck class should be killer next year. Maybe we will be able to get more people out there. Maybe then i will be the redheaded one, WEEOOWEE. witht that being said, cant wait to go break something on the legend aw yea Bodido 11-12-2002, 11:27 AM Anyone have the Tidewater RC phone#? I was hoping to go up there tonight to run this legend. BUBBAICM 11-14-2002, 03:33 PM try yellow book??????????????????????????????:p   outOcntrl 11-17-2002, 07:56 AM How was the Legends at Hampton? BUBBAICM 11-18-2002, 02:32 PM i didn't race thats what u wanted to know right? :D u didn,t lose your mo - jo we took it!:p  Bodido 11-19-2002, 05:32 PM I had a number of problems all night. Mainly because I used the same speed control I used for off road last week. It's bad mmmmkay!! Still had a blast. I only got close to a good setup at the end of the night. In the main me and Jady had a couple of laps where we were side by side and generally all over each other at warp speeds. It was nuts. After the first qualifier, jlap had to be adjusted. It wasn't counting all our laps..... It wasn't counting the ones UNDER 4 SECONDS. WHooHoo!! We were running close to 60 laps I believe. Waay faster than stock.... slightly slower than 19 turn. That said, There was very little interest in the class at all. I think Jady and I will continue to run it for now, but I think it's days are numbered. :( 1/12 scale stock sounds like a big possibility when the new location opens. I've been thinking of getting one for a while now. After getting to take one for a spin Saturday night, I'm more enthused about them than I was initially. Jady and Ryan drove it too. We were all impressed. Factor in the tire and motor cost, compared to tc's on foams.... These 1/12 would be quite cheap to run. TC's go through tires at Hampton in about three weeks IF you don't chunk em. Stock motors need to be cut at Hampton every 2-3 runs if you want to win. I can't see how 1/12 scale could be close to this wear and tear. I don't have hands on experience, though. Did I mention these cars freakin turn!!!?? They freakin turn!! Seriously!! I'm gonna get one. Been looking at the Speedmerchant Rev 3. It looks like Ryan is in too. Jady's poor and looking to get married so that equals mega poor. So naturally he's hesitant. I'm not joking you Jady.... I remember being a student.... It sucked!! Bodido 11-19-2002, 06:02 PM Off-road this weekend. My favorite!!! It really looked like I had something for Jady in truck at the last off-road day. Damn speed control would always kill me though. This won't be an issue this time, though. That esc is allready boxed up for shipment to Novak. I think I might have to get Jady nice and drunk Friday night. He sure can't hold his liquor like he can drive. This will certainly even things up some. Now if Ryan gets involved, I think the advantage wouldn't stay with me. I think he could drink Jady and I both under the table. Josh and Shane talked like they were gonna show this weekend. I've never raced Josh in truck. Looking forward to putting a big ole donut on the side of his Losi. ;) Bubba: If you're up to it.... Make the drive. We'll have a killer truck class. Kick Wayne in the rear too. He hasn't been seen over here in a while. I'm guessing he's got a lot of work lately. Tell him the buggy class has been doing good, too. Grelish and Casserola started running buggy now as well. At the moment.... Rain ISN'T in the forecast for the weekend. We'll see though. I try to be optimistic, but lately it seems as though mother nature hates RC racing. Sprinklerman80 11-19-2002, 06:40 PM Chad, I think this Saturday should be pretty good. Trucks will be awesome with me you JD, Josh, and Shane. The weather is looking good so far but it's only Tuesday and you know how it goes. Hopefully I will pick up a 12th scale in the next couple of weeks, I will have some extra cash after I sell all those fabulous Losi cars!! Not sure wich one to get. Lets plan on getting some draft beer in JD Friday night , that is sure to even things up a bit. Thanks for the props on the drinking skills ( Irish and proud!!! )I think the big old donut on Josh's truck sounds good, you get one side and I will get the other!!! See you Saturday. RUSTYK 11-19-2002, 09:57 PM OFF-ROAD SATURDAY STREAM BE THERE. I'm charging up the LOSI and I'm gonna race. Bodido 11-20-2002, 11:31 AM Matt: Get out here and race us.... And bring somebody!! Jady: Rebuild away!! I'm not touching anything on my truck but electronics. It was so quick last time, I'm scared to touch it's setup. I hope the track is tacky again, so I don't need to. If it's dry I bet my truck will be a turd, though. I noticed your tires were shot, but I sure wasn't going to say anything. I'll let you run my special, modified step-pins. You know the ones. They were hooked at Debs on the gas truck!! I put my TC2 in the truck. I'll be testing it tonight. I'll be finishing all my runs this week!! Shonuff 11-20-2002, 02:02 PM thanks guy Shonuff 11-20-2002, 02:04 PM i hope it is as dry and dusty as ever HA Bodido 11-20-2002, 02:13 PM Actually Jady, I didn't notice how worn your tires were til the end of the day. I threw those cut down step pins away.... What was I thinking trying those things? Oh well... lesson learned. Thanks to the RS pit crew for saving my butt there. Tire stops rule!! Did you try Ryan's truck last time? He had a ton of steering for running blacks in the rear. Still scratching my head on that one. Will have to investigate further on Saturday. I did have a ton of body roll due to the current roll center setup. I might need another washer under my ballstuds in the rear.... unless it's dry of course. Shonuff 11-20-2002, 04:30 PM they have been that way since goldsboro we doin legends again on sat? Bodido 11-20-2002, 05:05 PM Legends....YES I'll have to move over my speed control after leaving Stream, though.... PITA Maybe Tommy will have his. Call your uncle!! We need more traffic!! I need to try shimming that RF spring like you did. What do you think? How did that affect your setup? Shonuff 11-20-2002, 06:40 PM my car was loose before the spacer, had a push after that i will have more power and gear this saturday--HAHAHAHAAAAA Bodido 11-21-2002, 10:55 AM OK... I was wrong. I can't run the Legend Sat. night. I am racing my truck, though. One of my best friends is turning FORTY! So I will be drinking beers with lots of old friends. Who's gonna run my legend? It must be raced!! Dirty D? Ryan? Joe? Lisa? Pushingood 11-21-2002, 05:58 PM In your forty some years or racing RC was there a time you got burned out on it?
