View Full Version : t maxx durability mac3194 03-17-2008, 08:58 PM is the t maxx durable how durable is it is it almost as durable as the savage? please reply. superdave2 03-17-2008, 10:00 PM dosent even match up against the savage the only thing better about it is the speed they are close though but the savage is way better all around except speed:thumbsup::thumbsup: mac3194 03-18-2008, 05:25 PM savage doesnt have reverse superdave2 03-18-2008, 08:33 PM well then get a reverse kit and the reverse isnt that great anyways but its all up to you if you need one mac3194 03-18-2008, 10:07 PM im pretty shure im geting getingh the tmaxx so can you tell me just how durable it is superdave2 03-19-2008, 03:21 PM its not the best but its durable up to a piont i just beat the hell out of both trucks and the savage just kept going with the tmaxx i jaut had to do so much bs with it it wasnt even funny you will want to get RPM products everywhere OvalmanPA 03-20-2008, 06:03 PM Biggest durability problems I have ever seen with any of the Maxx trucks are arms, bulkheads, and shocks. If you get a TMaxx I'd suggest after the first broken arm to spring for the RPM arms and possibly some aluminum bulkheads. Look into some aluminum shocks also as from a big jump landing the caps have been known to come off the stock ones creating an AWEFUL mess. Other than that they are "fairly" good trucks. A pain in the butt to work on with the chassis layout and the Traxxas engines can be hit or miss sometimes but for what they are, they are a fairly good truck. DIRTsportsman 03-20-2008, 07:03 PM Again your asking questions that you dont want answered. If ur getting a tmaxx and nothing else is an option who cares how durable it is? mac3194 03-20-2008, 10:25 PM now i think im geting the savage 4.6 its realy hard to decide bewtween these two trucks???????!!!!!!!! NITROKRAZY 03-20-2008, 11:39 PM If Ya Drive Um Like They Cant Be Broken They Will Break No Matter What Brand It Is! Ive Never Had One Break From Just A Jump But If Hit A Couple Trees Poles Curbs Big Cars Little Cars Eventualy You Will Break No Matter The Brand. Its Us The Driver That Breaks Them I Persanly With Out Ever Owning Anything But Traxxas That The Others Are Just As Good! AND REVERSE IS A GOOD THING LOL AND YES I THINK THE UPGRADES ARE WHAT MAKE THIS HOBBIE SO MUCH FUN I NEVER EVEN BREAK ONE IN UNTIL IVE UPGRADED UNTIL ITS WORTH MORE THAN MY REAL CAR HEY THATS A GOOD YOU MUST BE REDNECK JOKE ! vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
