hey ok first of all im new soo bear with me... I need to know what grease/oil i should use on the gears in the gear box? thx for any help:thumbsup::thumbsup:

what gears are you talking about diff gears or the spur and pinion:freak:

LOL uh i guess that are the diff gears the ones inside the gear box on the rc18mt ?? im kinda confesed my self:confused:

im wondering because i was running my car and it started to lock up then i freed it but it make a funy noise.. ima open it tomarrow and see what wrong but i do need sum lubricant in there car 2 years old and never even looked in there LOL

im not totally sure on what to use in the diffs of the mini but on the gear part its self i would use associated black grease and where the balls are i would use associated diff lube but if the diff holds fluid you will just have to get diff grease it come in a oil type like 1000 2000 8000 and so on it goes up to 1000000 i think and up that high is clay just locks them up i hope this helps o yeah the pinion it the gear on the motor and the spur gear is connected the the drive shaft and you dont need to put grease on them:thumbsup:
