Hi, I have an Allen Scythe which is in good nick but unfortunately the Villiers Mk25 engine has stopped working - a timing problem I think but I've spent hours and hours trying to fix it. So I thought that a Honda 4-stroke conversion would be a good idea! I've had the engine out and there is a shaft with a nut holding a small cog on. The shaft is apparently about 5/8 inch in diameter. Does anyone know if a horizontal shaft Honda will fit, and how to go about it? I'm looking at a 5 or 5.5 hp engine. Many thanks for the help in advance
