Picked up the Ark of Truth and I have to say that, well, hmm, it just didn't measure up to my expectations.
Overall, it did kinda wrap up the Ori storyline but the ending left a big question hanging in the air like a balloon.

Here are the basic events in the movie:
1) the movie addresses what happened to the Ori without much fanfare or explanation. It doesn't, however, answer the outcome of the battle between Oma and Adria.

b2) Bringing back the replicators was a waste of story telling.

3) Then Teal'c was shot, I found it hard to believe at his age that he survived and was able to walk out of a mountain range onto a very large flatland/prairie before finally dropping. No food, no water, and a staff blast wound to boot with no symbiote to heal him.

4) How was the Odessy able to withstand hits from 4 Ori ships when it was previously on the verge of being blown away in the last season's episode after only a couple of hits.?

5) When the ARK was finally found and opened, it was able to effect the Prios in a completely different GALAXY practically instaneously on their ships and other planets and yet, the one on Earth had to be exposed just a few feet from it in order to be "set straight".

Whoooo the writers really didn't put much thought into this as they wrote it up.

But, I'll give it 3 stars out of 4 for effort to close the last season before sending Amanda Tapping on to Atlantis.
She's looking really hot with the longer hair and pony tails. Hope she keeps it.

The first time the ark was opened, they were in the Ori home galaxy. The ark transmitted its signal thru the priors' staffs throughout that galaxy. But there was way for the signal to reach as far as OUR galaxy.

Then SG-1 came home thru the gate, handed the captured prior his staff, and exposed him to the ark, which transmitted its signal throughout OUR galaxy via his staff.

I agree on the replicators. I really didn't care to see them again.
