I recently came across a 1:64 Shelby Cobra from "Eastwood" on E_Bay. The pictures look nice, but I haven't heard of Eastwood before. Does anyone have any experience with them? Do they have their own castings or use someone else's? How is the quality?
Thanks in advance
Eastwood makes 1:1 auto repair stuff, and they have some branded diecast too. They're at http://www.eastwoodco.com/
Thanks! Do you know if they produce their own diecast or if they just brand someone else's castings?

I have seen in the past , some diecast trucks with the Eastwood name on them . They were Ertl products commisioned by Eastwood . I have not seen the Shelby , but it would be from someone else , as Eastwood doesnt make diecast cars ..

They must have quit the diecast end of things. I just searched for 'Eastwood' under Diecast Cars, Trucks on e.pay and there were a couple of dozen at auction, and well over a hundred listed by e.pay stores with BuyItNow. I think Eastwood stuff is mostly by Ertl. :)

Eastwood gave up the diecast business several years ago. They carried a lot of Lionel related stuff (1/43), but also carried other scales as well.

I've dealt with Eastwood and their products alot when I was collecting Diecast truck banks (I have 2 complete #1 series 1-14). This is a photo of their #2 truck bank (ERTL). Sorry the rest are packed away.
