Hi Guys,

I am dropping my wife and her sister to do some shopping on Sunday at
Short Hills Mall in Central NJ. I am looking for a slot car shop or
raceway to spend a few hours (and a few bucks!) at while they shop. I
know that NJ Nostalgia hobby is close by, but they are closed on
Sundays :-(

Does anyone know of a shop or raceway that is worth stopping at that
is open on Sunday?

Thanks!!

I don't understand why a slot track or hobby shop would be closed on Sunday... families are out and about and you would think a hobby shop or track would want to be open when people have free time and are out looking for stuff to do.. and spending cash.

Am I crazy to think this?

I agree...

My trip was cancelled at the last minute (literally... Sunday morning) and it appears within the next few weeks we will be going on a Saturday, so I will be able to get to NJ Nostalgia.

I guess that as most shops are small, that the owners deserve a 'life' too, and I do not begrudge them a Sunday.....

No, but some people probably go to church and take a weekday off with it, (Monday) I think it is more popular in small towns though. I think the weekend is a no brainer, most people are off shopping like you said so it would seem the wise way to go.
