Deane--- London's a different cat. What you have there is bewildering to us Yanks. Here no problem with red wire.

So is ther anyone online who has them? Bud had no T chassis and JAG only had the copper windings ones.

As for buying anything HO in London or elsewhere UK - ROFL. Never done that, unless you count SCD of course, Barry has been a major boon for us and I am glad it looks like he will be carrying on

Deane--- Lucky Bob's Has Most everything. If you can't find it there there are other possibilities, check with him first.

Deane,
Contact Bob Molta. He is seller Tubtrack and store Slotcarcentral on eBay. I know Bob has cases of Lifelike M and T chassis. Drop him an e-mail and he'll probably have what you need.
If he doesn't have any more, I have a case of T chassis I bought a while ago. I don't have them with me at the moment (but can get them in a week or so), and I don't know if they have red wire. They would be $10 a piece if you can't find them elsewhere.

Joe,

Thats sounds a good deal. I won't use Tubtrack as his shipping abroad is very high.

many thanks - Deane

Deane,
Shipping overseas from the US has skyrocketed. We can no longer ship by land/sea, everything has to go by airmail. Once you get a package with a little bit of weight, shipping costs go through the roof. What someone in the UK can ship to me for $5 US will cost me 2 to 3 times as much if I shipped that same item back.

I only wanted chassis, and he said that he had no redwires.

The first edition cars had copper wire, the pinion shaft was smooth,
the red wire arms came later and have a knurled shaft to hold the
pinions on better. Most toy companies run their spare parts on the
first order, you may have to buy whole cars to get red wire arms.
