My son is looking into trying dirt oval this summer, what chassis would you suggest for electric 1/10th EDM? Thanks for any input.

I would suggest that you go to the track you will run at and see what everyone runs. It would be easier if you use the same type of chassis as it will be easier as a beginner. Also check with www.dirtoval.com for more information about dirt oval racing.

the Getback Rc chassis is tearin up the tracks up north here. they seem to make the A main in alot of the events i've seen results for. i have a great time every time i set mine on the dirt. i've had a few of the other cars that derived from the terminator chassis from kranzel's, n i jus wanna add my two cents that the getback is my choice for chassis when it comes to dirt.
i gotta say Putnam and the Customworks cars are always a good choice too cause they are the cars that make the show too!

bottom line... whichever one your local hobbyshop can keep parts in stock for.

we are probably going to run the Hyperdrive Havoc for a chassis. Been talking with the local track director and the Sprints and trucks are the biggest classes. Thanks for all the help.

JR, there is an outdoor dirt oval about 5 mins. from our house ( Lomira) They race on Sunday afternoons. So we can race Triclone on Sat. and Thunder raceway on Sundays.
