Hi Guys,
I saw this car on ebay the other day. Although it comes on a "T" chassis, I'm pretty sure this is a body from back in the early days of Lifelike, just after they took over from Rokar.

I think this is another of those "Where did that come from?" Lifelike cars, as I do not remember seeing this car before. I do not believe it to be a Rokar because every Rokar car I have seen has "ROKAR" somewhere on the body. I have a #51 that looks a lot like this one, but the colors are different and mine has a small 51 near the headlights.

Seen this one before?

Thanks...Joe

Galoob?

No, Galoob only had two cars - a Ferrari and a Rolls; molds which were reused in a Lifelike twinpack about 5 years ago.

I would say this is definitely Lifelike, but another one from the secret vaults.

It looks like an old Thunderbird. It could be a early life like set only body.
Maybe a Cox.

Looks very old-school Rokar/Lifelike. I bet the LL crowd would drool if they brought back the Datsun Z........

Some of the LL race sets that have been released over the years have included cars with the older Rokar style bodies with generic liveries like the one you posted.

Best regards,
Brian

Back in the early 90s when I was getting back into slots, the first set I picked upwas a LL. This was one of the cars that came in the set along with a baby blue Olds done up as a generic stocker as well. I believe it was numbered 00. Maybe. :freak:
