saturday night i was racing in my main and another car bounced off the inside pipe and hit my car when he did my car went dead for a second and smashed head on into the wall when i got my car back from the turn marshall i still had stearing but no throttle and all the led lights are off on the inside. i have tried reseting it. then i tried unsoldering the wires and resoldering them thinking it might have a loose connection but still nothing does any one have any suggestions and do you think if i have to send back to novak it may be covered under warranty

Check the small wires real good soldered into the speed control that go to the receiver if you haven't already.

I wouldnt chance it!!!!!!!!!!! there is to much to lose when an ESC is questionable IE burning up or having your car go full speed into a wall etc.
I would send it in to novak to have them evaluate it. As far as warranty goes I wouldnt say yes or no but Worst case you end buying a factory reman esc whitch to me isnt a bad deal. Or they find a minor issue with yours and they repair it either way to me it's a no brainer why chance it because if you do you could end up with more then a damged esc.

i would have to agree with you i am going to be calling novak today to see about sending it back i am probably going to just send them the money for factory refurb
