Battery time again...:)
I have some older (two years old, at least I bought them two years ago) 1600/1700mAh NiMH Spec packs (Trinity/Corally), that have basically been sitting for quite some time. I discharged them on a light-bulb rack down to just where the lights were barely glowing, and they've been sitting ever since (this is quite a while ago).
Now, I've never "dead-shorted" batteries before, but I remember reading somewhere that that procedure will kind of "kick-start" the batteries back to life. What's the correct procedure(s) for doing this? I'm also using a couple of old Tekin chargers (two versions of the BC110) to charge, using a 12-volt battery as the power source. The chargers have adjustable current for SCR and SCE's (0-10 amps).
