The following sponsors are on board for the 12 Hours of Green Run

Here is your chance to build a car they way they would have been built in the late 60s but you have the advantage of all the modern day after market parts.
13 days to get your car ready for the next mail in race. It will be held in March 22nd thru 29th 2008 It will be Daytona/Sebring class cars i.e. any car that Ran at 24hrs of Daytona or 12 hrs of Sebring. The Race will be four 3 min heats for a total of 12 Min i.e. 12 hrs :) What will be different is I will not re-run any cars, I will hit the stop button fro each deslot however there will be 0 delay set on the TrackMate.
Concourse d' Elegance for best looking car. Special Guest Judge Bob Hardin will judge this year. Who knows maybe your car will be an inspiration for some future art :)
Special prize to highest finishing entry with injected molded rims i.e. Vincent, RRR 3R or any other readily available wheels.
This gives you plenty of timer to start modeling and tinkering.
1. Cars must be modeled after an actual cars that ran at the 24 hours of Daytona or 12 Hours of Sebring. Must have numbers can be a fantasy car however it must be based on actual car that ran.
2. Any Body must fit through a 1 1/8th Tech Block. Body may not be made of magnetic material. Open Cockpit cars must have Driver :)
3. Chassis any. Only modification not allowed is you may not add traction magnets or cut the chassis to make it a MT/XT i.e. expose the motor magnets on the bottom anything else goes. However can motors may have the motor magnets exposed but must pass the turn the track upside down test i.e. they must fall off the track when turned upside down
4. Wheels Tires axels any, however Tires must be black. Also max width is 1 1/8th
5. Motor magnets any CERAMIC
6. Motors any pancake any can motor but must pass the turn the track upside down test i.e. they must fall off the track when turned upside down
7. Motor Brushes any you want to try
7.Guide Pin any - NO REAR Guide Pin Allowed.
8. Pickups - any
