I was able to collect all the GL 2-packs, but the Corvette 2-pack didn't appeal to me at all with the racing numbers all over them... They didn't even seem to go with the rest of the sets... Why did GL do all the 2-packs with normal street cars and the Corvettes with the goofy numbers ? I was able to find a stock 61 Corvette single pack and a 72 Corvette single pack and replace the goofy ones with real looking street cars... The yellow Corvette is a 72, but there were hardly any changes those years 71 & 72 so it looks better this way in my display !!!

Not a Chevy historian but I wonder if the blue 71 is based on John Floyds 1972 #18 Corvette
