I've had 2 Custom Works, and they both have had the same problem... The ride height adjusters are sloppy in the rear pods, does any one have a cure or suggestion for this?????

The stock plastic bearing carriers can swing both ways, between tight and loose depending on the batch from Associated. The best solution are the IRS bearing carriers, they are much more consistant and fit perfect. Other than that, you can shim the sloppy plastic bearing carriers in the pod plates better using either ShoeGoo or wrapping a piece of Scotch tape around the bearing carrier.
Hope thie helps,

You can also put a dab of shoe goo on the edge of the carrier. That will keep it tight.

Here's another way to tighten up a loose ride height adjuster:
-Place a piece of plastic bag over the pod plate hole, (like what our R/C parts come in) then press the adjuster into place. Trim off the excess plastic with an exacto an you are good to go.
The bag will act as a filler mat'l between the adjuster and the pod plate, and will be uniform in size all the way around. You can even play with different mil/thickness bags for better fit.
That's an Old Trinity trick...our pod plates were bananas.

Try cutting a thin sliver of paper. 1/8 of an inch wide and and inch long.
Fold it in half and when you go to snap the ride height adjuster in put the paper between the block and the carrier.
My car does the same thing even with the IRS adjusters.
This keeps them very tight. I put them on the rear and cut the excess with exacto knife.

I cut 2- strips Clear (Christmas Wrap) tape about 1/8 wide and 7/8 long. I applied 1 piece above the bearing and one below, sticking them directly to the ride height adjusters. The tape hung over the edge of each adjuster just enough to snap them into place with minimal trimming... WOW what a snug fit!!! Thanks for all the advice guys and remember GO FFFFAAAASSSSTTTT TURN LEFT  Lucky Lance
