TBRC1 02-29-2008, 12:08 AM Casey will do on the track, hotel info. If things go right all we need in a hotel is a good clean place to sleep and shower. We stayed at one place and found the next day we had pet's EEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWW the 6 legged type.
The better info we can get on car setup the better. We all run Associated L4's. Except my 4 cell stock car, that's a hybrid car. You know a bit of this and a bit of that. There are 4 or 5 companies and some home made parts on this car. I'll be running all bsr tires the other guys .................heck if I know what they run :D
cbegin 02-29-2008, 03:20 PM I just got off the phone with Team Trinity, They are on board for race prizes again!!:woohoo:
cbegin 02-29-2008, 03:56 PM Muddslide Motor-Sports is the newest sponsor on the list!

cbegin 03-01-2008, 07:52 PM Jason,
I just wanted to let you know,,, We are really gonna miss you. You are one of the most talented drivers I've ever met.
I have never seen anyone who was such a natural at driving and setting up a car. If you ever need anything, I am always here and willing to help any way I can. (You have my Number) I've always admired your driving skill since the first time I saw you racing at Dave's track.
In the last few months, I've gotten to know you alot better and consider you a good friend. Your driving skill and tips will be greatly missed at RC Speedway. You have always been a valuable asset to our track. I know you will be successfull anywhere you go. You have a wonderful family and I know you will do great things.
All of us at RC Speedway feel a loss when one of our family leaves. And you are no exception. You have been an asset to our track and brought us many new racers who are in it for the love of the sport and the new friends it brings.
Anyway.... I wish you the best of luck in everything. Your entire family will be GREATLY missed. Thank you for everything!
Sincerely,
Casey Begin, RC Speedway

FLYINGFINN#8 03-02-2008, 10:05 AM Bye Jason And Good Luck. We've Raced Together For Many Years And You've Been A Great Friend. Smoke Those Guys In Arizona.
I Don't Think I Will Be Making The Trip Up To The Track This Time.
Cumberland Rc Has A Race The Sameday And I Promised Them I Would Be There. Good Luck With The Race And See U Guys At Maximus ...lol
cbegin 03-02-2008, 02:48 PM I didn't know Cumberland Scheduled a race the same day. They must have announced it after we posted our schedule last year along with the other Northeast Tracks. Well, it's good to support your local track. So good luck with your race! Maybe we'll see you at one of our next events.
cbegin 03-02-2008, 03:00 PM The concourse challange for the 2008 Banked Oval Championship promises to be one of the best to date. The competition will be very stiff. There will be some simple rules for the concourse.
1.) The body you enter in the concourse must be Race Ready and MUST be used in the Maine Event of the day. No exceptions
2.) The body must be either Nascar Style, SK, COT, or RC Legends.
3.) You may not enter a body in a class you are not sighned up to race in. For example, if you're racing the Legend Class, you may not enter a body in the pancar class. I want to see all these bodies in action.
4.) Noone can have my picture on their car, as it might give that racer an unfair advantage in the competition. :p
Aside from that, the sky is the limit!!!!
pageracing 03-03-2008, 02:14 PM who is going to run 17.5 brushless and casey what are the rules for the class
cbegin 03-03-2008, 02:54 PM Same rules for brushless as it is for stock with regards to weight and height. The 17.5 class is quite large now so there will be many in this class.
pageracing 03-03-2008, 03:05 PM allright thanks......dad told me to tell you he didn't forget about the money he owes you.....i will be back on the track soon so i will proally have it for you soon

Jason
Jason, when are you heading down south??????
OVALL1 03-03-2008, 11:14 PM I'm in NH now! I needed tires today for my truck but had some trouble. So I'm on the road again tomorrow.
Casey,
Are you running the Trinity spec batteries & motor for the COT class? Where do get the batts/motor from? That looks like a great starter/for fun class to run. Also, are going to allow the narrower impala COT body in that class?
BTW you're losing a great racer in Jason Lam. Good luck out west Jason!
Andrew Phillips
OVALL1 03-05-2008, 07:58 AM Thanks Andrew!

I usually order my Spec batteries and spec motors from either Lefthander RC or Team1 racing/Victory Hobbies. Yes we will allow the narrower COT body.
As far as Jason Lam goes, I agree 100%. He's not just talented, he's a nice guy who helps everyone who needs it. The only problem he's gonna have is commuting back to Benton Maine every Friday night from Arizona so he can race. :p
OVALL1 03-06-2008, 12:00 AM Get to 54 laps in brushless and I'll come back to try and beat it!!
cbegin 03-06-2008, 07:55 AM Get to 54 laps in brushless and I'll come back to try and beat it!!
Ok Jason, If that's what it takes, you got it.
OK, if any driver can Break the 17.5 Brushless 54 lap barrier, there will be a $30 cash prize as well as a free meal at the snack bar on me.
That should get Jason home faster. HAHAHAHA:dude:
You better hope Dustin dosen't find some speed that will be an expensive meal to buy!!!!:)
J-Dub Racing 03-07-2008, 03:14 PM That might be worth a trip up from VA. 54 laps in 17.5 seems like it is "doable". I dont remeber what I did in stock when I was there, but it seems like it was 51 or 52 laps. I was racing at so many places then though, so I really dont have a clue.
cbegin 03-07-2008, 03:30 PM If Dustin comes close to breaking the record I'll have to shut down the computer or something. lol
cbegin 03-07-2008, 03:32 PM I wanted to let you guys know, I am starting a website for the track. It's just in the begining process but here it is. HTTP://WWW.RCSPEEDWAY.ORG
Looks good so far Casey except for that ugly mug from Canada! LOL. Now that he's famous it'll all go to his head. HAHAHA
Yahoo#1 03-08-2008, 01:07 PM Jason Lam, I didn't get a chance to shake your hand and wish you the best before you left. You definately made us better racers and you will be missed. Now about this 54 laps thing you know I am going to try and get you back!!! Last night I did a 52 @ 4:02.44 record is 52 @ 4:01.91 Not to bad huh? Frankie was real fast also. Eben changed his motor and ran the higher rollout and it looked like it worked. So I guess you better plan on coming back soon cause we're all trying to bring you back! Good luck in all you do in Arizona and don't beat up on them out there too bad.
