Ok, I used to have a Duratrax Digital peak charger, I upgraded to 3300 matched cells, so i wanted a better charger to charge / discharge them, so i bought a team checkpoint charger.... Here is my problem, i'm using the stock 3300 setup on the charger, but when i charge my packs i'm only getting numbers around 2600/2700mah? On my other charger i always got numbers over 3200? Am i doing something wrong or is there something i need to change on the charger? any help would be great, thanks, B

I did notice that one of the settings on it is "top off charge" and it is set at 500mah. If i disabled that, would i get an extra 500mah then?

maybe it is because you lug it into a wall? thats what happend to my cousin. he had a batterie 4300 and would carge over 2300 because it was plugged into want and he needed to buy a better charger. The duratrax digital peak charger should still work for it i think.

No, i have a power supply for it, it's a top quality pro charger, thats why it's bothering me so much, i pay 40 for my duratrax and it charges great, i pay over 200 for the checkpoint and it false peaks for some reason

I've had the packs about 5 weeks now and the only difference i did with the new charger was change the amp rate from 5amps to 6amps now. I run stock truck. I even tried using the automatic setting and i still only got around 2800

I sent them an email last night, still waiting for a reply. A few people that i race with have the same charger, so if all else fails, i'll just talk to them on Wed, it just sucks, cause i'd rather be all charged up and ready for racing, but i guess i could just use my old charger till then....

Depending on what 3300's they are (green and orange , or rainbow GP's) they are notorious for the capacity decreasing with use. also make sure the peak detect is set right on the charger( 3-4 mv per cell for a total of 18-24 mv for a 6 cell pack) Another thing is the check point charger is much more sensitive than the duratrax charger you were using so it actually kicks off when the peak threshold is reached. More than likely it is not the charger. Have you been properly discharging the packs to .9v per cell(5.4v per pack)?By the way 2800mah on a 3300 is not bad. you have to remember that is 3300mah TOTAL capacity. So to have 500mah left in a battery that has been discharged to .9V per cell is reasonable.

They are the green and orange ones, I can see where you are coming from, i didn't really blame the charger, just the user lol and i didn't discharge them to .9v which i knew i should have, i just used to 20amp bulb set and did it till they were dim  I know thats prob bad and another reason for buying this charger... I'll check the other stuff when i get home, thanks B
