Thanks jbell31 02-23-2008, 07:18 AM For Foam Bumpers: What to look for in Foam: Sides Extra Firm (77) Closed Cell (2.0 lb) in 15.500"L x 3.000"W x 2.000"H rectangles Front and rear Extra Firm (77) Closed Cell (2.0 lb) in 18.500"L x 6.000"W x 2.000"H rectangles Also, You can contact any of the 1/4 scale suppliers, and they have a little different pre-cut foam to fit your ride. Check out the links on the QSAC website for suppliers. 1Starpower 02-23-2008, 07:25 PM Thanks for the reply Jim, but I need to know what type of foam they call it. I can find a lot of different foam types at that density but I need the exact name. I have a plan/project that requires a larger piece than what the manufacturers are selling. Rattler 02-23-2008, 07:56 PM I haver had great success using archery target found at most sporting goods stores! Yes It's white but can be colored to match whatever color you desire by coating with rubber tool coatings found at Home Depot! The coating helps preserve it longer after crashes! It forms easy by sanding on a belt sander but messy, and cuts easy on a band saw!
