Anyone know any shops in London where HO cars are sold? I know Hamleys has MicroScalextrics, are there other retail sellers?? I was hoping to run across a shop with Bauer or maybe Faller cars. Thanks.... ND

ND,
Hang on for Montoya1. I believe he's from across the pond and I'm sure he'll give a hand if he's able. OFD

Let me lift what I posted on another thread:

The infrastructure for HO is very weak here. Once the Tomy AFX stuff disapeared the UK pretty much became a 1/32nd country. We buy almost everything from you guys!! Apart from the odd Scalex set in Hamleys or TRU there really is very little.

The good news is the racing scene is clinging on. If your lad is over here and free on April 13th or June 1st he would be welcome to race with us in Edmonton. We race everything from Tyco F1 to Wizzard P3Es.

Check out www.eahorc.com to see what we are about.

From my own investigations I was afraid that I was slowly coming to this conclusion too. You saved me a lot of legwork... THANKS for the invite to race too... Sadly, he's not a slot-head like me (if it were me there... I'd be there). He graciously offered to bring back a souvenir from his travels that was something besides the obligatory Big Ben or Tower of London replica...lol. (just like we try to sell you guys Statue of Liberty figurines when you visit the US...lol) It's a shame though, I was hoping to uncover a hidden gem, but it looks like he'll be making a stop at the 4th floor of Hamleys to look for the Aston Martins. He will be stopping in Italy on the way home too, so there's always a chance for something there I suppose. I wish HO was more abundant over there for you. Hard to wrap my head around that, because some of the nicest stuff I've seen is from Europe (ie: Bauer, Faller). Oh well, thanks again very much. nuther Dave
