Just noticed on the Auto World website that the Thunderjets are no longer listed under "Products." Are they done making them now?
The Super 3 link is there instead but it has no news in it.

I sent Tom an email a few days back asking about the future of the Ultra G T-Jet as with only one release on the market it's been difficult to establish a race class specifically for that chassis. No reply as of yet but if I hear anything I'll pass it on.
With multiple sources now claiming that NOS T-Jets are done, I'm curious...if AW is done with the line and NOS stuff has really run out, how will large-production guys like Dash and RRR move forward?
On a side note, I see AW has recent interest in keeping the "Curve Hugger" trademark active

If TJets are not in AutoWorld's future, which I doubt, and if the supply of NOS TJets has dried up then there are other enterprising individuals with the wherewithal and presence in the hobby to pick up the torch and carry on.

I too have my doubts as to AW discontinuing it, with two chassis mods and a new gear there's obviously tooling costs to recover. With or without the mag it's their most race-ready chassis to date for the platform. They are still available on their shopping page, and their website is long full of empty space and dead ends, so the missing link could simply be a web design issue.
As to anyone carrying the torch....I'd have to wonder myself. The closest rumblings came a while back from wizzard and I doubt it would be anywhere close to the magic under $20 price point needed for mass market appeal.

I would think that the Tjets would be the #1 seller for AutoWorld many people buy tjets only myself included. I can't see them dumping something like this.

I certainly hope they are not discontinuing them. They are the majority of the AW cars I buy.

I'd let my existing product run down before I started to release a new chassis. Maybe the release of the ultra g was just a wetting of the appetite and until the stuff in the chain wears down, they'll just sit on the design. Could also be that A.W. is listening to the retailers that are saying the the product sits too long as not all the bodies sell out? Could be nothing? We will know soon enough.
If I was Tom, I'd use this opportunity to clean the pipelines, get new product in the works and not release it until September 1st., then follow it up with another November 15th release.
just my random thoughts,
