I am planning to buy a new digital servo for my Gen2 an was wondering what to go with, any suggestions.

the futaba 9550 or the 9650. the 9650 is very small for weight savings and has enough torque to turn the tires smoothly. i just looked on the futaba website and the 9550 has been replaced by the 9551. that servo is about the width as a standard servo but is not as tall. the 9551 has a lot more torque than the 9650. i have only run the 9650 but was planning on running the 9551

Futaba 9650 is a great servo for your pancar. This is the only servo I run :)

JR 3421 for me. Futaba 9650 isn't a bad choice either.

How about the Futaba Brushless Digital Servos? Anyone who has the BLS351 or BLS451, what are your thoughts?

I ran the Futuba 9550 last month. First time ever.
All I can say is "WOW best servo I've ever had"

i also thought about the BLS451. its almost the same diameter as the 9650 but has more torque and speed. anyone try it yet?

The JR DS9411 is a great digital servo too. It's smaller, lighter, and has more torque than most current low profile servos.

I would have to say the most popular pan car servo would be the Futaba S9550. Now that it's been discontinued look for the S9551 soon.
