is anyone using the sphere tc ? i am thinking of using it in a dirt modified . will the 17.5 novak work with this speedo? any input on reliability and ease of use would be great . does it have lipo cut off. thanks http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/images/icons/icon5.gif

The Sphere TC will be fine for the 17.5. It will run down to a 3.5 Brushless motor and any brushed motor. The esc itself is VERY easy to use and reliable as well. Very smooth and with some minor tweaking can feel just like a brushed setup. Also, in my opinion, the Sphere Comp and TC are the easiest to switch to brushed mode too as they are auto detect with no jumper from the battery positive side. They both have built in lipo cutoff too. Be careful though as LRP takes FOREVER if something happens and you have to send it in for repairs.
