ccm399 02-14-2008, 07:31 PM Shirts look good Scott!
Scott54 02-14-2008, 07:43 PM Thanks Chris. Those really weren't meant to be posted but Ryan wanted to see if there would be interest so .... what the heck! :) So as of now, those sponsors aren't involved but who knows, they might end up being a part!!
ccm399 02-14-2008, 07:44 PM I like the logo....the sponsors just add a little bling....

Scott54 02-15-2008, 10:55 AM Ok, so I lied. I still don't have the signup sheet ready and I don't think I'll have time until Sunday night. But if you have any questions, message Ryan. You can message me, I'm on here every day, pretty much all the time, but I can't guarantee I'll have the answer..... but I'll get it for you.
Scott54 02-15-2008, 04:41 PM By the way, there will be a different layout by this date.

Scott54 02-19-2008, 12:10 AM http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p301/jeepmusic54/ARCSFlyerVersion2.jpg
HookupsXXX4 02-19-2008, 05:49 PM Are we going to be able to get a little practice time on Saturday? I am sure there will be.
We are planning on filming this race. Really looking forward to it.
For those that are interested, the video of Midwest will be ready and for sale at this race. This is a 3 DVD set. The first disc will be of qualifying rounds highlight and stuff that when down in the pits and hotel. Disc 2 and 3 are pure racing, all A-Mains from start to finish. No music, with the 2 camera angles that I am sure alot of you have seen them. We are working on putting in a "ticker tape" at the bottom of the screen to show running order and lap times.
We will be asking $10, and that is with hard shell case that holds all 3 DVDs. You will be able to watch before you buy. We will have a lap top with us.
If anyone has any questions, give me a PM.
Sorry of kinda highjacking the thread, looking forward to this race! I haven't turned a R/C on since Midwest.

HookupsXXX4 02-19-2008, 05:59 PM So he is doing a club race before. What about Friday? If I can get some track time would be great, I am going to run a new truck and go brushless. So any practice would be great.
Heck, if there is going to be practice on Friday night, I might just stay up there for the weekend.
Will that be the last of racing up there after the Nitro race?
emod15_777 02-19-2008, 06:16 PM We will have practice Fri. night, club race Sat.. The track will stay open until April 26th.
As for the truck, Titanium ballstuds everywhere.

I have been running Losi since '89, and I can't bear to buy AE. Even when I ran a AE 12L4, it bugged me.
I guess that I am a strange, by I will always stand by Losi.

Will 1/8th scale be open to electric conversions?
I Don't want cause any problems so I figured I would ask. Bumps-N-Jumps has put out an open invatation for the electric conversions to come join in the fun with their Trophy races.
Thanks,
Doug

Do electric 1/8th scale pit stops require a battery change, Since that is the fuel.:p
i can't speak for Ashtabula...but at Medina for instance, pit stops will be required....buggy must be on the rail for a count of three.

Scott54 02-26-2008, 03:38 PM I'm not going to announce anything just yet, but we are getting a lot of manufacturer support for this race. The door prizes are going to be great, including Lipos! (yes that's plural)

Scott54 02-27-2008, 12:00 PM Good news for the 5th Annual Lake Erie Shootout to be held on March 30th for Electric and April 6th for Nitro. This is the first year this race has taken on manufacturer support and we're excited at the response we have received. So far, the following manufacturers have agreed to offer support for donations for the door prizes:
MaxAmps, Hot Bodies, Lunsford, JConcepts, and CEN. The list should continue to grow since there are still a lot of manufacturers who have showed interest but have not committed just yet.
Make sure you tell everyone how big this race is turning out to be.... the more the better!
ccm399 02-27-2008, 12:06 PM Cool!!!!
Good work guys!
