How about a little less talk on the Snowbirds, Cheater, How to cheat and on BL Motor Mods. How about you snowbird guys tell us beginners and Intermediate drivers how to work on setup and chassie help rather than B/L Motor Mods and Cheats. Some Day we Intermediate drivers will be the snowbird drivers mybe you could give us some Info on what chassie means and what you can change to make them faster and handel better.
I personally know what tweak does and what more axle spacing does and simple chassie setups like that but what about advanced chassie setup. Like Caster and Front end axle spacing advanced tips like that.
But less Motor Mods and battery issues and more chassie talk. From what i have heard about the snowbirds why should I go there. Why should I spend my money to go to Flordia and race when all I hear is Hate?????? I dont get it.
Thanks

the problem with this is all the cars will tune just a little different with all of the different tire packages out there.... and their set up may not work for you. it would be a good starting point but still maybe off.
most of the time if you are off a little bit in brushless your car may not be free enough. and just because your car is close to spinning out does not mean it is free. with all the different chassis out there you will see different ways to get forward bite and the car to be free.
i run a rip car so if anyone out there would like to send me a pm i could give you a base line to start with. i am sure most of the other companies "team" drivers would be more than happy to help. just ask the right questions....
goodluck

Im not looking for someone to tell me how to set it up but more like what things do on the chassie. More like what will adding a shim to the LF do to the chassie and what will less do. Just advanced tuning adjustments and what they do. Like caster position and things like that.

Read over this book, it will answer a lot of questions you are asking, or have asked in the past and may not have gotten an answer.

Don't forget about the search feature on here as well. Any question concerning setup that you can probably think is probably answered on here somewhere.

Read through these 2 threads. There is plenty of info about advanced adjustments.

Taylor.. there are hundreds of posts on Hobbytalk on everything you
could ever want to know.
Some of them are just as boring to a lot of us, as Snowbirds chatter
is to you...
That's why there are so many different threads..
Read the ones that you want.
Do searches for the info you need,
and you will be amazed at what you find.
As for all of these "secrets" you ask for, like "advanced" caster settings,
there are none. You have to use what works for you, not what works
for Joe Racer. You know you don't want them leaning forward, and you
know you don't want them back more than say 4 degrees.... so you need to
work between 0, and four degrees.
No combination of those settings will gain you a lap,
or a TQ at the Snowbirds..
I saw a car this weekend with more caster than I have ever seen...
The guy was ONE second off the track record,
the record set by a guy with a LOT less caster...
If you are looking for "great, guaranteed winning setups" let me know when
you find them.
Until then, try going to the Custom Works site, for example,
and click on those setup sheets.
Those guys tell you every single adjustment setting that can be normally
made on a car. Everything you keep asking for....
Start with one, and then modify them to suit your needs.
Then and only then, will you know what a camber change does.
Or a side shock spring change... or center spring...
NOBODY can tell you how it will react, to your car, or your
driving style.
