I'm wanting to start collecting HO slotcars. Need to find some track, controllers and a couple fairly decentcars. What should I go with?

Do you want inline cars or pancake <thunderjet> type cars?A nice new Tomy set,4 lane with 18 degree turns will set you up nicely for a start,but they come with<yuck> inline super G+ indy cars.
