I need to replace a b&s engine 123k02-0183.with all the different types of 123k02's does it make a difference if i use a (0015 or 0515 etc.). thanks for any advice.

After looking up your engine, the correct replacement called for is the 123K02 0015

Thanks for the fast reply.very busy at work took thiS long to get back to cpu. one more question ? HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE BLADE ADAPTOR FROM THE CAMSHAFT ??????

Well the blade adapter should be on your crankshaft, unless there is something really different about your engine.

Most blade adapters will pull straight off the shaft once the blade retaining bolt is removed. There can be some rust or corrosion that might make it hard to remove, a little penetrating lubricant and tapping with a hammer will usually get one off and sometimes you have to use a puller when they need a little extra persuasion.
