Did they make a upgrade for these motors and is it worth doing? LMk thanks

Same as the one for the 4300 motors.The sintered rotor makes these run really good.The guys at our track use them in Mod EDM when the track gets slick.

What do you mean by upgrade. If you asking about the sintered rotor and larger endbell bearing? Yes it will run cooler and little faster becasue you can gear it up more.

The only upgrade that I know of is a sintered rotor and larger endbell bearing for both the 4800 and the 5800. I run a 5800 with a sintered rotor in my t4 set up for oval our track has a 156' drive line and with a 24/84 gear set up will turn laps in the 6 to 7 second range
